Misoprostol when not pregnant

Your health will not be harmed if you are not pregnant but take the misoprostol anyway. However, you may still experience the common side effects of misoprostol, including nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, or a low fever for up to 24 hours.

Misoprostol is regularly used in non-pregnant women to prevent and treat ulcers.

Mifepristone alone has been shown to cause no medical harm among non-pregnant[1] women.
