What painkillers can you use with Misoprostol?
You can use painkillers like Ibuprofen (Motrin) and Acetaminophen (Tylenol) with Misoprostol along with a little food, but do not use any muscle relaxers.
After taking Misoprostol, for some people the pain and uterine cramps can be very intense. For other people it is not intense at all. It is difficult to know how much pain you should expect when you take Misoprostol yourself.
As a precaution, we suggest that you take painkillers approximately 1 hour before taking Misoprostol. We also recommend eating a little bit of food with the painkiller medications.
Painkillers that work well with Misoprostol:

- OR both medications together (they work differently so you can take the maximum dose of both medications on the same day)
